Barrios - Granada, Nicaragua

When I saw this little girl climb into her hammock, I knew I wanted a photo. I leaned over the fence, and asked her if she’d let me take a shot. She gave me a little grin and nodded her head. I took the shot and gave her a big smile before turning the camera around so she could see herself on my camera. Her smile got even bigger. The kids in the barrios loved seeing the results of our photos – and it was so much fun to watch their faces light up.
