This week, we are in beautiful Nicaragua! This lush green forest can be found at the top of Mombacho Volcano in Nicaragua. The top of Mt. Mombacho is covered with clouds. The heavy mist feeds the exotic plants and animals that live in this area. It is a photographers paradise, and we’ll be visiting it again this week during our workshop with The Giving Lens and Empowerment International.
I used this small bridge to create a leading lines as well as a point of interest. I was using my camera to demonstrate to Janet (one of the senior kids) how to use hyper-focal distance. I balanced the exposure carefully so that the highlights were not over exposed. I also used a circular polarizer to cut through some glare on the leaves.
