Yosemite is one of the oldest and most visited National Parks in the United States. Easy access to the Yosemite Valley attracts over 90% of the visitors, and only a small percentage ever see other areas of this amazing park. This is a view taken from the top of Nevada Falls – looking straight down.
I took this photo with my old Canon 10D. I backpacked up to the top of Nevada Falls – and took this shot just before the sun went over the horizon. The last rays came streaming through the trees and were traced by the mist. My biggest challenge was in dealing with the glare from the sun coming off the foam in the river.
